[edit] Proposed merge with Pescara Grand Prix

As far as I can see, the Coppa (sensu stricto) only ran before WWII. After the war, as the article already states, the race was renamed the Circuito di Pescara, apart from in 1955 when it didn't run, and 1957 when it formed a round of the F1 World Championship and also went by the name of the Pescara Grand Prix. In all these years the race numeration (i.e. XXIV Circuito di Pescara etc.) continued the sequence carried over from the pre-War Coppa races. In light of this I think that it is fair to merge the two pages onto this one, and reword the introductory line to fully highlight the name variation through the years. As nobody else seemed interested in this discussion, I went ahead with the merger. Pyrope 11:28, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
