Description

This is the first 9 lines of the source listing of Dr. Li-Chen Wang's Palo Alto Tiny BASIC modified by Roger Rauskolb and published in the December 1976 issue of Interface Age magazine. The complete listing is over 1500 lines of 8080 assembly language.

Dr. Wang's BASIC had 26 variables [A -Z] and a new feature, a single array denoted by @[I]. In addition, the font is so low in resolution that the @ glyph resembles a white C in a black circle.

This was an open source project and anyone was free to use or modify the source code. Note the Copyleft statement. This is a scan of a copy of the code personally given to me by the author in early 1977. [1]
