[edit] Copyright problems with Image:Bronzes-Of-The-Brave.jpg

An image that you uploaded, Image:Bronzes-Of-The-Brave.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems because it is a suspected copyright violation. Please look there if you know that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), and then provide the necessary information there and on its page, if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Strangerer (Talk) 21:25, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
  • Hello, I noticed that you wrote, "I am the creator of the image, the Communications Director, and Advisory Board Member to the SSF Foundation. I have full rights and authority to present this image. Thank You" on the image description page. As it states at Wikipedia:Copyright problems, if you have in fact released this image under the GFDL, you need to either:
    • Make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL on the SSF website; or
    • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en at wikimedia dot org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation.
I am taking a look at some of the other images you uploaded to determine their copyright status, as it seems unlikely that an album cover would be released under a free license. Do you have information on where it says they have been released? Please remember that all works are copyrighted until they have been released explicitly. Thanks. --Strangerer (Talk) 22:14, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Memphis sound

A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Memphis sound, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but yours may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
