It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Wikipedia:Articles for creation/2006-08-18. Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Geniac 23:42, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Chloroacetic acids
Hi Conrad. I reverted your edits to chloroacetic acid and dichloroacetic acid. You changed the IUPAC names to chloroethanoic acid and dichloroethanoic acid, respectively, which are in fact incorrect. See http://www.acdlabs.com/iupac/nomenclature/93/r93_705.htm for the rule. Acetic acid is the preferred IUPAC name, an exception to the rule (and there are many exceptions), with unlimited substitution allowed.
Don't let this discourage you from editing, though! Why not join Wikipedia:Wikiproject Chemistry and contribute to more chemistry articles on Wikipedia?
See you around

[edit] Section heading style
Hello. Please see my recent edit to list of trigonometric identities. You're using too many capitals in section headings. This is incorrect under Wikipedia:Manual of Style. Michael Hardy 16:12, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry - I could claim ignorance, but that sounds too defensive. Conrad.Irwin 21:22, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Perse girls logo.png
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Perse girls logo.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Kitkatcrazy 15:54, 27 October 2007 (UTC)== Bishop Infobox ==
Hey, I think the purple is nicer too but I thought that Catholic infoboxes had to be that shade of brown - see [1]. This makes sense given that the pope infobox is that shade too. Write back, Kitkatcrazy 17:51, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hi your version is really good with the light purple, so we should just stick with that and start applying it to the long list of Bishops. Ta, Kitkatcrazy 08:15, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Random
I know I sound like such a pedo on this thing but I just want to know what your views are on Iraq etc, cause Im doing an essay about it for school and it says on your user page that you are very opinionated! Could you please reply with your thoughts? Kitkatcrazy 15:54, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks so much for your reply - I think I'll quote directly from it to give examples of differing opinions on the subject, if thats alright with you. Thanks again, Kitkatcrazy 15:38, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Query
The procedures described in Wikipedia:Dispute resolution, including RfCs and mediation, are generally helpful. Getting additional users involved often changes the dynamic of a dispute. Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Television might be a good place to request help as they are used to dealing with episode issues. ·:· Will Beback ·:· 22:38, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Portrait of a Turkish Woman
I keep pestering you! But I am nominating one of my photos to be a featured picture (Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Portrait of a Turkish Woman and I was wondering whether you would support it? I'm trying hard to get it nominated! Ta, Kitkatcrazy 16:51, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
