I am the volunteer WebMaster for The Friends of Thringstone community and environmental group.

In previous lives I have worked at some major companies doing things like:
- Calibration and repair of avionic systems.
- Water in oil and oil in water detection and measurement systems. Making sure that the oil companies don't pay too much tax, and that their operations don't cause too much pollution.
- Gas flow measurement and gas detection techniques.
- And lots and lots of other projects: pipeline mapping, vibration dose calculation.
So lots of electronics, optics, ultrasonics, computer hardware, computer firmware, computer software, computer programing, maths and statistics, data visualisation, GPS, GIS and etc. and etc.
Now, I like walking.
