Welcome to my profile. My name is Luis Guillermo Pineda Rodas and I begun editing in Wikipedia in 2006. I am a student of International Relations and International Commerce at Universidad Francisco Marroquín (UFM)in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

UFM is a Libertarian University that was founded in 1971 under the "The mission of teaching and disseminating the ethical, legal and economic principles of a society of free and responsible persons".

  • My favorite quote ever is: "swear by my Life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for the sake of mine." John Galt in Atlas Shrugged.
  • I am an author of a blog titled Homo Homini Lupus. The name was taken from reading "Leviathan" by Thomas Hobbes where I found the quote that explains the historical and philosophical origin of "Man is the wolfe of man".
  • My native language is Spanish so most of the articles are written in "the language of Cervantes". However, you will find some other articles that were written in English by myself.
  • I work as a Reference Librarian and Bibliographer at Biblioteca Ludwig von Mises[1] and most of my free time I spend it reading and listening to music.
  • I own a black (5 months old) French Poodle called Lolita.
  • I do not play sports and I cannot remember when was the last time I had to kick a ball.
  • I was a National Champion of Chess when I was 15 years old.
  • The first book I bought with my own money was an Advanced Encyclopedia of Dinosaurs. The Second book I ever bought was the National Geographic Atlas.
  • I haven't wear and not even own a pair of shorts since I was 14.
  • I drink more than 5 cups of coffee a day and I don't like drinking Sodas.
  • I have always thought I belong to the clothing fashion of the 60s and the lifestyle of the 70s.
  • I am terribly scared of chipmunks and mice. I love riding horses and I had a passion for collecting toys of Elephants when I was a kid.
  • I have watched all of Star Trek episodes thrice.
  • I hate watching TV and just watching people stare at it bothers me.
  • I have a collection of more than fifty empty yellow highlighters I have used since January, 2003.
  • If I could choose another life I will surely have chosen to be a black singer of jazz music.
