I am dissatisfied with this current template. What separates a phase from a phenomenon? What is important to have in this template? I wanted to link together the various topics in condensed matter physics, but I don't have a clear organizing principle. For example, I think quasicrystals should be included, but I don't see how. Perhaps the APS March meeting sorting categories can be of help. --WilliamDParker 21:23, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Adding scientists?

I'm concerned that the scientists section will grow out of control or be a misleading list. Does anyone have an objective criterion for keeping the list manageably small? Barring any persuasive comments or an indication of consensus in favor of keeping the scientists section, I will remove it. --WilliamDParker (talk) 14:09, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
