Well, how about moving this page to that? One hears of things being "partially ordered by inclusion", but I've never heard anyone say "partially ordered by containment". Michael Hardy 19:19, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

- ...occasionally one encounters a fastidious person who says a includes b when b is a subset of a, and a contains b when b is a member of a. That's another reason to prefer the other title. Michael Hardy 19:21, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
Michael, see the references I've added. The term containment order is, in fact, the only one I've every encountered to describe these posets.—PaulTanenbaum 21:34, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
