Without reliable sources, this is a new buzzword. Has this term ever been used in major media or academic journals?

No! I think it is an article for deletion. See WP:AFD. And it isn't even a buzz word. It's a misuse of the network concept, but could be subsumed under social network and social software. Bellagio99 22:04, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
