How does "construction engineering" differ from civil engineering? Addhoc 16:42, 15 September 2006 (UTC) I don't know either, civil engineering definitely involves construction, but construction may not be civil engineering works. I think a rewrite is needed. Only mention on US but no other countries.

Two separate degrees offered at many universities. Also two separate professional engineering classifications. Construction Engineering program like Structural Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering can be part of Civil Engineering Department.128.12.168.8 (talk) 04:23, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
