Talk:Constantine III
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Comment on redirect: Constantine III (western emperor) was not a usurper, for he was formally recognised as co-emperor by Honorius. That is the only objective standard we got. Neither was he Constantine II of Britain. The Roman emperors Constantine I and II both ruled in Britain, and no Roman emperor ever styled themselves as "emperors of Britain", that is just an anachronism.Sponsianus 22:04, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
