Talk:Conquest of the Planet of the Apes

[edit] No Pets
I must admit I haven't seen the movie yet, but a virus wipes out dogs and cats, so now humans don't have "any" pets? What about birds, fish, lizards, or any other animal besides cats or dogs? This is a ludicrous premise.
Can any of those animals actually *do* anything useful for humans? Or provide actual companionship? The answer is no. I admit that I love my Bearded Dragon Stompy, but I won't deny she's little more then a chemical machine that eats, basks, shits and makes little dragons. Animals like those are more like glorified decorations then proper pets.
Regardless of wether you find the premise "ludicrous" or not, (nevermind the premise of the *entire series* is ludicrous), this is not a messageboard to broadcast your opinions. Talk pages are there to discuss changes to improve the article, so take your opinions to IMDB or something if you don't have anything to contribute. 01:33, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- The premise is that HUMAN SOCIETY DECLINES AND APES ARE USED AS SLAVES. Once some people who used apes as pets (for sure the minority) saw their potential, it snow balled from there "apes for all!".

[edit] Does the original ending footage still exist?
Haven't seen it on any recent Conquest DVD's. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.2.90.61 (talk) 14:04, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
