I think it is Connelly Springs (non-possessive). The town's website, government offices and zoning map all use the spelling "Connelly" Springs. The name may have originated as "Connelly's" Springs, but as an encyclopedia Wikipedia should use current official names when possible.

If the user who renamed the town for the article could point to sources to verify the name "Connelly's," that would be helpful.

[edit] Connelly--not Connelly's

I've changed all instances of "Connelly's that I could. I was not able to change it at the top of the page-- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connelly_Springs,_North_Carolina.

Please let me know how to change it and I will, unless I'm not permitted to do so, in which case someone with permission must change it.

[edit] Named after John Connelly

The town is named after John Connelly who owned a hotel at a very famous natural spring. I am not sure what it was called when the hotels where there but both the original hotel and it's replacement burned down. The hotel hosted guest from around the country, at the natural spring. I have forgotten the geneology, but my this man was related to my paternal grandmother. My family had tons of pictures of the hotels from the 1800 and early 1900.
