Maybe this article should be added to conjoint analysis (in marketing).An article entitled conjoint analysis would be more mathematical and less application specific. mydogategodshat 19:47, 14 Aug 2003 (UTC)
1. In the Ivy League example focus groups are a qualitative method of gathering feedback. Conjoint analysis is a quantitative technique requiring formal structured sampling methods and an appropriate base size.
2. It describes the use of a card sort exercise, which is just one form of conjoint analysis (Full Profile). Some discussion of choice-based conjoint and discrete choice modelling is also merited
3. This overlaps so strongly with the conjoint analysis (marketing) that they should be combined
