[edit] Need help
There isn't much information on this vehicle available online, so if there's anyone who's had more experience with them, please feel free to fill in the blanks. Edward Sandstig 23:26, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Crew 2+12
I heavily doubt about the truth of this information. The Condor is a small class 4x4 APC, and 2+12 is a number that only few of the biggest 8x8 APCs reach at all. Just compare some numbers:
4x4 Simba APC (a direct competitor of the Condor!): 2+8
6x6 Tpz Fuchs / Fox APC: 2+8 Saracen: 2+10
8x8 FNSS Pars / GPV Colonel: 2+12 Piranha IIIC: 2+11 MRAV Boxer: 2+9 Stryker: 2+9
I think it is impossible that the Condor carries 14 soldiers, even in it's pure APC version. With one of the weapon-turrets installed, it's transport capability should again be heavily reduced.
S.th. like 2+8 in the APC-version and 3+5 in the IFV-version should be much more realistic, but I'm afraid to say that I have no exact numbers. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 84.129.216.106 (talk • contribs) 13:54, November 19, 2006 (UCT).
- Unfortunately, there isn't much information out there on the vehicle and I've had to use whatever scraps of information I can find. A recent addition to Army-Guide's page on the Condor pegs its capacity at 1+11 so that brings it closer to the Simba for example. If someone could provide a more reliable source though, that'd be great especially if the article could be fleshed out a little more. --Edward Sandstig 21:43, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

- I'm not sure my information is of good use or not. I've been into a Condor before (I'm not a serviceman), so I do have a rough idea of its size. The configuration that I've been into are for twin-GPMG support turret, 30mm turret, command vehicle and ambulance. For the first two, they have 3 crews; driver, main-turret gunner, back support gunner. The 30mm turret version would have less one passanger for 30mm spare ammo placement. There are about 3 portholes on both sides of vehicle, which would suggest about 6 passangers can be carried at the same time. There's also another porthole for the back door. So, another passanger should be able to fit in. There's no space beside the driver. Another 2 could squeeze in into the vehicle. On another note, the 14-seat variant could be benchmarked against Asian body size (though it is no longer possible as most Asians are now a bit larger than before). The 14 soldier configuration could be that they all sit tight and not using the porthole to fire back at the enemies.

- Here http://www.chunky2shy.com/events/ are some photos of the Condor-interior (scroll down). Dunno which version, twin-MG or 30mm, but a turret-version. I count 5 seats. Maybe one or two seats can't be seen from this position, but definitely not 12! --84.129.225.20 17:01, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
