When writing an article about a particular film, the general format should be a concise lead section, followed by a plot summary of no more than 900 words, production details, a cast list, a reception section, and references.
Create an Infobox that tells all pertinent information about the film.

Stub to Start-Class Upgrading Instructions for Films

Note that instructions for articles on other types of film topics within the scope of WikiProject Films are currently under development.

To contribute in upgrading this stub article to Start class, the following requirements must be met:

Significant intro (list the title, alternate titles, year released, director, actors starring in the film, summary of headings, etc.)
Film infobox ({{infobox film}})
Picture: Consult WikiProject Free Images for freely released images from a film shoot, opening, or other relevant free image. Non-free and unlicensed images are to be avoided if at all possible, but if used should include a detailed fair use rationale. (An image is not required for start class if unavailable.)
Plot summary
Include cast and crew information.
At least two other developed sections of information (production, reception (including box office figures), awards and honors, themes, differences from novel or TV show, soundtrack, sequels, DVD release, etc.)
Categories (by year, country, language, and genre(s))

The result of the proposal was no consensus to move this page from Condemned (film) to Condemned, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 03:57, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

This should be moved so that Condemned can redirect to Condemnation. The film name is derivative of this legal concept. savidan^{(talk) (e@)} 01:15, 26 March 2006 (UTC)

This band has absolutely nothing to do with that film, and has been around since 1993, pre-dating the film by many years! The two are not linked at all and no move should be carried out. 167.127.24.25 12:03, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

Is this band not entitled to a Wikipedia article just the same as every other band article on this site? I fail to see how this could be contested. Please explain. The way i see it is, a lot of people use wikipedia as a reference guide for many subjects including music. In my opinion i think its a case of first come first served and frankly i am glad it wasn't a redirect becuase then i wouldn't have discovered this fantastic band. 194.46.15.106 12:49, 6 July 2007 (UTC)

Oppose: the redirect to Condemnation is far more useful to readers than having the 1929 film article stub there. Beyond that, there are other articles that could also stake a claim on the name (including a TV episode and a contemporary film). --Ckatz^chat_spy 21:09, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

Oppose move. The word condemned has a number of meanings in English, as well as names of other things besides this film. A redirect to condemnation is much more apropros. Many films using common words as title use (film) after the title for disambiguation. ●DanMS • Talk 23:25, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
