Talk:Concrete canoe

I'm not sure how to approach adding teams or links at the bottom. We also need a nice usable photo--Rbeas 03:45, 29 July 2005 (UTC)

There's a little glitch in the article, I think. It says that the concrete canoe is lighter than water, and while this is true on average (it must pass the swamp test) the concrete mix itself is not necessarily lighter than water. The added displacement required to pass the swamp test is usually achieved by including large pieces of foam at the bow and stern of the canoe (at least that's how it is in the Canadian competition - U.S. ones might be more stringent in their requirements...) 23:26, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

It seems a little bit pro florida at the end, and a list of all the winner for each year would be a good way to show how long it has been going on, and who does well. Buffalodan 20:55, 30 May 2007 (UTC)Buffalodan
