[edit] concrete

perhaps a stupid question: but are the cows actually made of concrete or not? if not, what? 80.168.29.18 12:44, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

not - see the article under Trivia. --Concrete Cowboy 17:29, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
    • The Cows are not actually made of concrete. They were assembled from bits and scraps, and skinned with fibre glass reinforced ciment fondu.

[edit] Conceptual Art

According to the Conceptual Art article the idiom started in 1913 with Duchamp so the Cows coming in 65 years later is hardly an early example so have changed that. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 212.85.13.68 (talk) 11:24, 13 February 2007 (UTC).
