I have recently been told that one of the offenders' names was 宮野裕史 (Hiroshi Miyano). Can somebody verify this? 84.137.38.181 21:20, 20 July 2005 (UTC)

The furuta kanji is from http://nanyasore.jugem.jp/?month=200407

Both Kamisaku's and Furuta's kanji are in the same entry. WhisperToMe 05:25, 20 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Christ, this is absolutely awful. And I can't believe those pricks got out relatively scot free for torturing not just an innocent girl but her nerve-wracked relatives, friends, etc in the process. Nothing could be more depressing, honestly.

This story made me absolutely rage because of the amount of abuse the four offenders dealt on the poor girl and the relatively small punishment given to them. If there are any people that deserve death (or if there's something else worse than death), it would most definitely be these four. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.239.72.253 (talk) 08:41, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

Added references to news. Adding other references as they are available in English or can be cited. Thegline 15:38, 22 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Could you delete it?

  • I'm sorry. I am Japanese, English cannot be spoken well, and forgive me, please though sentences might be strange because the translation software is used.

May I ask for the deletion because a specific version is deleted by the Japanese version article with the link to this English version article, and victim's real name has been described? 124.210.245.64 07:58, 10 May 2007 (UTC)(Railroad)

[edit] Whose semen and pubic hair?

"When some of the convictions were overturned on the basis of problematic physical evidence (the semen and pubic hair recovered from the body did not match those of the boys who were arrested), the lawyer handling the civil suit decided there was no case to be made and refused to represent them further. (There is speculation that the evidence may have been contaminated—for example, by unidentified persons who raped Furuta.)"

Isn't there any information to be claimed, verifying or at least speculating in where the semen and pubic hair might have come from? - Mickey Macaroni 07:51, 14 May 2007 (CET)

Nice to meet you. I say Railroad acting in a Japanese version. Because the translation software is used, the sentence is strange. Please forgive me. In and a Japanese version, the version of the article named Junko Furuta including the link to this English version article was deleted. The reason is a thing of violations of privacy. Then, could you delete this article though it is asking? It did not correspond though it wrote in Discussion of the article. Please continue your favors toward the deletion. --124.210.245.64 09:16, 26 May 2007 (UTC)(Railroad)

Does anyone know privacy issues are of concern here? The only thing I can think of is linking Jo Kamisaku to this crime. This is not that well sourced. If you check out the Jo Kamisaku or do a Google for the name, it appears the sources did exist but are no longer available. If sources can't be found soon, I suggest the article be deleted per BLP and any mention of the name here be removed Nil Einne 16:42, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
Nevermind I found a reference. I don't really see a problem now although I did remove a reference to the name of the other victim here. Doesn't really seem to serve any purpose Nil Einne 16:55, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

They actually got away with this? $^%^&^%$%$$#$#^&^&&@%^^^$##$#$$###%^^&^&$%$%#@$#*&*&^%$$#$^%^&$%#$#$%^&^%#@@@$^*&^&%$%$%^%^%...pardon my language Iamhungey (talk) 23:55, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] stuff to add

Waita Uziga wrote a manga about the crime that is worth linking. Do you agree? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.35.249.8 (talk) 12:50, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
