I will come back later to NPOV-ify this article. Fishal 21:02, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

I believe that this page is a suitable entry for a university. Prospective students and interested persons will find the information here helpful and interesting. Please specify what on the page is "written like an advertisement" so that it can be edited. Thank you.

please take a look t other university entries; the information about individual programs and degrees is not appropriate. It's a worthy subject for an article, but it must be re-written, and references added to web or print published articles about the university from independent sources. The way things work around here, you would be very well advised to do this i the next few days, before somone else deletes the article. I have put a tag on it that should keep it for 4 days from now.DGG 22:13, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
And watch out that you do not copy and paste any text from the college website or other publications without getting explicit permission to put the text in the public domain. Paraphrasing is not OK--it must be rewritten entirely. And, particular, make sure that the pictures you use also have the appropriate copyright permission. DGG 22:26, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

I have finished editing this article, please let me know, prior to April 17--the deadline you gave, if the editing I've done is sufficent. Thank you. ECPR823 20:17, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Clean-Up

Jaxon33 16:08, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

    • Consider integrating 'Intercollegiate Athletics' under "Quick Facts" with the section on "Athletics." Perhaps introduce a table to manage information and reduce verticality of article, which is lengthy at present.
See Wikipedia:When to use tables. I think that a list is fine. Fishal 20:33, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
    • Consider adding an Introductory paragraph using "Quick Facts" information which could be more useful at the beginning of the article or placing the "Background" section before the "Contents" section to fix spacing issues at the beginning of the article.

[edit] Odds and ends

I removed the NPOV and advert tags. Besides changing some of the language to make it more neutral, I also condensed it somewhat, combining statements that sounded redundant. But what keeps happening to Image:Concordiatornados.jpg? Fishal 19:37, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

{{help me}} Concordia University at Austin changed its name to Concordia University Texas on July 2. I have edited the copy of the article to reflect this, but the title of the article needs to be changed to reflect the university's new name. I don't know how to do this. I was told to provide a reliable source to confirm this so here are some links, including the university's Web site and a link to an item that ran in the local newspaper the Austin American-Statesma: www.concordia.edu www.statesman.com/search/content/news/stories/local/07/01/0701roundup.html

Please let me know if and when this can be accomplished. Thank you. ECPR823 14:52, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
