[edit] Brea Prindaville

Removed "Brea Prindaville" link under noted residents... while I'm sure that Brea is an intelligent person and Concordia should be very proud of Brea, just "graduating from Dartmouth" and being a medical school student does not qualify as "noted" under Wikipedia rules.

I would happily endorse this entry if verifiable, notable information would be provided.--Paul McDonald 14:07, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

There was an article recently published on the front page of the Daily Pennsylvanian about artist and former resident Shelby Prindaville (the sister of Brea). Does this qualify as notable? http://media.www.dailypennsylvanian.com/media/storage/paper882/news/2007/10/25/News/Students.Give.cold.Interior.Artistic.Touch-3056527.shtml —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.123.207.88 (talk) 04:37, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

Nice article, neat project, probably a neat person. But I'd have to go with not notable. She's a college senior in art, of which there are thousands upon thousands. She's working on her first big project and doesn't have a real track record. She's done some stuff for what appear to be non-notable regional magazines. In other words, she's on her way climbing up--but hasn't arrived yet and still has a ways to go. As of now, no one in 100 years will really care, no one on the other side of the world will really care, and we only have one sourced article. That does not meet the Wikipedia guidelines for notability. --Paul McDonald 14:03, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Chamber of Commerce link?

I didn't place the Concordia Chamber of Commerce link, and I didn't remove it... but I wonder why it was removed. I would think that someone doing research on towns in north central Kansas would find a valuable reference link to the Concordia Chamber... ideas? Comments?--Paul McDonald 16:04, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

I wasn't thinking, I simply removed a section that didn't really belong and tossed the abby out with the bathwater. Nyttend 00:17, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
