From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

[edit] Summary

A counterfeit Norwegian banknote, reading "Hundre spenn" instead of "Hundre kroner" (this is the obvious dead give-away). "Hundre" is hundred in Norwegian. "Spenn" is a slang for "kroner", much like "quid" means "pound", and "buck" means "dollar".

[edit] Licensing

[edit] Fair Use Rationale for Norwegian krone

  1. The material should not be used in a manner that would likely replace the original market role of the original copyrighted media.
  2. No free equivalent is possible, since it is a photograph of counterfeit currency. Additionally, no free-use image could be created that would adequately give the same information.
  3. The image is of low resolution, which does not interfere with commercial distribution of higher-quality images.
  4. The image used for educational and informational purposes by Wikimedia Foundation, a non-profit organization.
  5. The image adds significantly to the article because it illustrates the subject of the article, Norwegian krone.
