English : Spectral absorption curves of the short (S), medium (M) and long (L) wavelength pigments in human cone and rod (R) cells.

Français : Courbes d'absorbance en fonction de la longueur d'onde. (S), (M) et (L) correspondent respectivement aux courbes pour les cônes bleus, verts et rouges (qu'il serait plus correct de nommer jaunes) et (R) correspond à la courbe relative aux bâtonnets.

Deutsch :Spektrale Empfindlichkeit der Stäbchen (R) und Zapfen im kurzwelligen (S) Blau-, im mittelwelligen (M) Grün- und im langwelligen (L) Rotbereich des Lichtes, jeweils relativ auf die maximale Empfindlichkeit der Sehzelle bezogen.
