Conwy United FC are a part-time football club based in Conwy, playing in the Welsh Alliance League in Wales.

Listed below is the history of the club since they joined the League of Wales in 1992.

[edit] 1992 - 2000

Conwy United were one of the founder members of the League of Wales. They played the 1992-93 season and spent 8 years there. When the club was relegated in May 2000, the League of Wales lost one of the founder members, and their treasurer Michael Falkingham.

[edit] 2000 - 2007

Since relegation in 2000, Conwy United haven't been close to promotion. They have been close to relegation on occasions in the 7 years outside the League of Wales.

Conwy United are not the only founder member side to get relegated and not return for some time. For instance other founder members to fall off the Welsh footballing map are Abergavenny Thursdays, Holywell Town, Llandidloes and Mold Alexandra to name a few.

Legendary Welsh international goalkeeper Neville Southall was with Conwy as a youngster. Players including Carl Dale and Kevin Ellison went on to enjoy solid Football League careers after successful spells with Conwy.
