The Conwood Sales Co., LLC is a division of Reynolds American, a major tobacco company. Conwood was acquired by Reynolds American in mid-2006 for $3.5 billion in cash. It now generates nearly 4% of Reynolds American's annual revenue[1].
Conwood makes the Grizzly and Kodiak brands of moist tobacco and is the second largest manufacturer of smokeless tobacco products in the US. Conwood also makes loose-leaf tobacco (including Morgan's, Levi Garrett, and Taylor's Pride brands), snuff (Garrett, Dental, and Tube Rose brands), and an assortment of other smokeless tobacco products (including twist, moist, and plug).
