Conversation with the Beast

Conversation with the Beast (German: Gespräch mit dem Biest) is a 1996 film by Armin Mueller-Stahl. For his directing and screenwriting debut Mueller-Stahl has chosen a Hitler farce. The film is about an American researcher (played by Bob Balaban), who interviews a 103-year-old man claiming to be Hitler.

The film has been released on September 10, 1996 (Toronto Film Festival) and shown at over 20 film festivals worldwide, but has not been released on video.
