Constitution Party (United States) National Convention

Constitution Party National Convention is held by the Constitution Party every 2-4 years. To date, there have been five.

The first National Convention of the U.S. Taxpayers Party was held in September 1992 in New Orleans, Louisiana. [1]

The Second National Convention of the U.S. Taxpayers Party was held on August 15th and 16th at the Del Coronado Hotel in San Diego, California. [2]

The 1999 convention was held September 1-6, 1999 at the Regal Riverfront Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri. [1] It was here that the party changed its name from the U.S. Taxpayers Party to the Constitution Party. [2]

In 2004 the convention was held at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania from June 23-26.

The 2008 convention was held on April 23-26, 2008 in Kansas City, Missouri.[3]

In addition, there are Constitution Party National Committee meetings. One was held in Concord, New Hampshire, December 1-2, 2006. It met in Boise, Idaho, April 20-21, 2007 and chose the location of the party’s 2008 national convention. [3]
