Constantin Lăcătuşu

Constantin "Ticu" Lăcătuşu (b. February 21, 1961 in Piatra Neamţ) is a Romanian mountain climber. He is the first Romanian ever to reach Mount Everest, which he did on May 17, 1995, and the first to have completed the Seven Summits, which he did on December 10, 2001.

After secondary studies at Petru Rareş High School in Piatra Neamţ, he enrolled at the Faculty of Geology and Geophysics of the University of Bucharest, graduating in 1986.
