Constantin Cernăianu (born October 12, 1933 in Târgu Jiu) is a former Romanian football player and coach, now retired.

As a footballer he played for Flacăra Târgu-Jiu (1949 - 1953), Ştiinţa Bucureşti (1954 - 1955), Pandurii Târgu-Jiu (1955 - 1960).

As a coach he was in charge at Petrolul Ploieşti (1960 - 1970) - winning the Romanian Football Championship in 1965-66; Universitatea Craiova (1971 - 1976)- winning his second championship in 1974-75; Romania national football team as assistant of Stefan Kovacs (1977 - 1980); Sportul Studenţesc Bucureşti (1980 - 1981); Steaua Bucharest (1981 - 1983); Olimpiakos Nicosia (1983 - 1984).
