Constance McCashin (b. June 18, 1947, Chicago) is an American actress.
She is best known for her role as Laura Avery Sumner on the prime time drama Knots Landing, which she played from the show's debut in 1979 until 1987. In 1987 she was written out of the series due to cost-cutting measures, along with a number of other characters when her character died of a brain tumour.
Although she participated in the 1993 Knots Landing "Block Party" retrospective, she is notable for having boycotted both 1997's Knots Landing: Back to the Cul-de-Sac and the 2005 unscripted reunion special.
McCashin also appeared in several episodes of the series Brooklyn Bridge playing the part of "Rosemary Monahan". She also was a guest on the game show Super Password.
