Consolation was a Dutch death metal band that formed in 1989. They released three full-length albums through Displeased Records. The band split up in 1999. They more or less re-started in 2002 as the short-lived Cardinal.

Consolation's debut album. It was released in 1993 on Displeased Records as a split with Nembrionic Hammerdeath's debut album Tempter.
- Hardcore Leeft
A split EP by Consolation, Nembrionic and Osdorp Posse. It was released in 1994.

An EP, released in 1994 by Displeased Records on vinyl only.

The second album by Consolation, released in 1995 on Displeased Records.
