Conrad Wallroth

Conrad Wallroth (May 17, 1851 — February 22, 1926) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman.
Wallroth's career began with a series of university matches for Oxford University cricket club, before he played in his first county match in 1872 for Kent. He continued to play for Oxford University until 1874, then, for a five-year period, save for a Gentlemen vs. Players fixture in 1876, he remained inactive in cricket circles.
Wallroth, at the age of 28, would earn a surprising return to the cricketing arena when he was called up to play for Derbyshire in 1879. However, he was only to make three appearances for Derbyshire, in the middle-order, one of which would see the Derbyshire team, at the hands of Alfred Shaw and Fred Morley, bowled out for sixteen runs. Wallroth would not play cricket beyond the 1879 season.
Wallroth was born in Lee and died in Compton Grange at the age of 74. Wallroth's brother-in-law was former Kent cricketer Alfred Lubbock.
