Conrad was once a small hamlet of around 5 people and was located in Southeastern Alberta, Canada. It is located on the historic Red Coat Trail 8km (4 mi) east of the hamlet of Wrentham and about 24 km (14 mi) West of the village of Foremost. The hamlet was named by the C.P.R..
Conrad, Alberta is now home to the Burchfiels/Burchwaldians, the largest family in Canada which consists of 200 immediate family members, including International pop star trio Conrad, Jerry, and Kurt Burchfiel.
