Conor Gill (February 6, 1980)is a professional lacrosse player with the Washington Bayhawks[1] of Major League Lacrosse[2].

[edit] Professional Career

2007 (Washington): Played in all twelve games with the Washington Bayhawks[3]. Scored 15 goals along with three two point goals and 19 assists for 37 points. Picked up 21 ground balls on the season. Was named to the 2007 All-Star team but missed the game due to injury. Was named the Offensive Player of the Week.

2006: (Boston): Appeared in 12 games in his fifth season as a member of the Boston Cannons. Earned All-MLL honors for the second time in his career along with being an MLL All-Star. Led the MLL in points for the second time in his career with 63 on 24 goals and a league leading 33 assists. Earned the Cannons Team MVP and Offensive Player of the Year honors. Set a career high with 5 two-point goals and was fifth on the Cannons with 30 groundballs.

2005 (Boston): Led the MLL in assists for third consecutive season with 34 while tallying 20 goals and 39 groundballs. Appeared in 2005 MLL All-Star game and won the MLL Accuracy Shot competition. Was fifth in the MLL in points with 54.

2004 (Boston): Named MLL MVP for his league leading 67 points. Also named to the All-MLL team and Cannons Team MVP. Scored 27 goals on the season and tied his own record for assists with 40. WAs named Bud Light MVP three times, against Baltimore on May 27, agains Rochester on June 5, and against New Jersey on June 26.

2003 (Boston): Started in all twelve games for the Cannons. Set the MLL single season assist record with 40. Became the Cannons all-time leading assist getter. Named Co-Offensive Player of the Week for game against Long Island. MLL All-Star.

2002 (Boston): Was the Cannons second overall draft choice in 2002. Named MLL Rookie of the Year. Scored 20 goals and added 16 assists for 36 points, while picking up 30 groundballs on the year.

College: Played college lacrosse at the University of Virginia. Was a First-Team All-American selection in 200 and 2001 as well as a Second-Team All-American as a senior in 2002. Named the ACC Rookie of the Year in 1999. Became the first freshman to be named Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Championships. Finished career tied for second in assists (146) and seventh in career points (223) in ACC history.

Currently employed with Warrior Lacrosse. Son of Laurie and Gary Gill. Has a sister Meghan and two brothers, Brendan and Gavin. Both brothers play lacrosse at Virginia. Uncle played baseball at Clemson.
