Connor Hughes

Connor Hughes (born October 4, 1983) is an American football player. He currently is the Kicker for The Philadelphia Soul, wearing number 16.

Connor Hughes was born in Newport News, Virginia on October 4, 1983. He attended high school at Lafayette High School in Williamsburg, Virginia.

On November 22, 2003 Hughes tied the record for field Goals at University of Virginia, with 5 in a game that guaranteed the Cavaliers entrance into a bowl game. In the 2004 season he made 17 of 24 attempted field goals for the Cavaliers. In the 2005 season he made 21 of 24 attempted field goals for the Cavaliers.

Connor was signed by the New Orleans Saints on May 4, 2006. While with the Saints he was wearing number 6. He ended up being released on August 24, 2006.
Connor Hughes was added to the Pittsburgh Steelers' roster and assigned to NFL Europe on February 13, 2007. Hughes released by the Pittsburg Steelers on August 27, 2007. While with Pittsburgh he made 2-of-2 extra points in a preseason win over the Philadelphia Eagles and also made 2-of-2 field goals against the Washington Redskins.
