[edit] Character History

Connor was presumed dead in the war in Iraq. He came to Port Charles after his wife Mary Bishop was murdered. She mourned his death and convinced Nikolas Cassadine that he was her husband. Connor came to Port Charles to avenge his wife's murder. Connor had the intention of taking Emily from Nikolas since Nikolas was the one who killed his wife. Connor kidnapped Emily, but Emily was able to convince him that Mary would not have wanted him to do that. Connor had seen Nikolas push Helena Cassadine over a cliff and decided to blackmail Nikolas. Nikolas confessed to Helena's murder.

Everyone believed that Helena had survived the fall from the cliff. Luke Spencer came up with a plan. He wanted Connor to impersonate Nikolas to draw Helena out of hiding. With people's help they would capture her. Emily was teaching Connor how to act like Nikolas. Connor started to have feelings for Emily. Emily made it clear that she was in love with her husband, Nikolas, and wanted nothing to do with him. Emily and Connor were in a cabin in the woods hiding from Helena. Connor turned violent. He forced himself on Emily. She hit him in the head with a champagne bottle. He attacked her and then raped her. She stabbed him with a screwdriver before ultimately shooting him to death.
