Connex bus (UK) refers to the bus company branded Connex that operated in the United Kingdom from its creation in 1996. Connex was a brand name of Veolia Environnement, used in train and bus operating companies. Connex gained contracts to operate London bus services, including high profile Route 3 [1].
Connex was forced to sell its bus operations when its brand name was damaged after the Connex South Eastern and Connex South Central fiasco. Connex bus was acquired by National Express Group in 2004 [2], forming the second incarnation of their subsidiary Travel London.
