The Connelly-Yerwood House is a historic home in east Austin, Texas. The structure was built in 1904 by the Connelly family, and acquired by Dr. Charles Yerwood, a prominent African-American physician, in 1926.[2]
In 2000, the home was acquired by the Austin Neighborhood Housing and Community Development department. The department completely renovated and restored the home, receiving a Heritage Society of Austin Merit Award for its efforts.[3]
The home is located at 1115 E. 12th Street. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
