[edit] History

Founded in 2003, the Connecticut club won the AMNRL Championship in the inaugural season and have continued to be one of the most competitive in the League. The Wildcats have played in every Grand Final since entering the League. Each year they have played the Glen Mills Bulls, winning in 2003 and 2006. In 2006 they were coached by former National Rugby League (NRL) player Nathan Hollingsworth.

The Connecticut Wildcats are heavily linked to the Australian NRL team, Wests Tigers and it's two merger/feeder clubs Western Suburbs Magpies and Balmain Tigers. The NRL is the top rugby league competition in Australasia. The Magpies and Tigers are part of the second tier rugby league competition in Australia, the New South Wales Cup (formerly the NSWRL Premier League).

In Norwalk the Wildcats' home pitch is at Andrews Park near Norwalk High School.
