Connecticut Cash 5
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Connecticut Cash 5 is one of the games offered by the Connecticut Lottery.
It began in 1992 as a Saturday night-only game (now drawn daily.) It has always had 35 numbers, and the same basic payout structure ($100,000 for all five numbers; the top prize does not roll over) $300 for four numbers, and $10 for three numbers. Connecticut Cash 5 later added its one-of-a-kind kicker option; for an extra 50 cents per game, players choose a sixth number (the game has always drawn only five numbers; there is no "bonus" number drawn). In addition to the prizes mentioned earlier, a player choosing kicker wins $4,650 by matching all five numbers (if one of them is the kicker selected by the player); $75 by matching three regular numbers plus the kicker; $5 for two regular numbers plus the kicker; or $2 for matching one regular number plus the kicker.
The payout percentage is 58%, among the highest for a "traditional" online lottery game.
