Conneaut High School

Conneaut High School is a public high school in Conneaut, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Conneaut Area City Schools district. It is located on 381 Mill Street and is in the northeasternmost corner of Ohio. The Conneaut mascot is the Spartan. Vision Statement

We envision our school as a leader in promoting student learning and achievement through demonstrated "excellence."


Mission Statement Our mission is to engage students in a positive, supportive, and safe environment and to provide a superior quality academic curriculum, individualized to allow students to realize their highest potential.

Goal Statement "Excellence" in instructional programs that meet or exceeds the standards in all subjects as established by our school board and our state.

"Excellence" in creating an atmosphere that promotes a desire to grow intellectually, emotionally, physically and socially.

"Excellence" in creating an atmosphere that promotes self control and self-discipline that leads to responsible citizenship.


Conneaut High School Rated "Excellent" For The 3rd Year The Ohio Department of Education released the 2006-2007 School year Report Card for school districts across the state. Conneaut High School met 12 of the state's 12 indicators and is rated excellent. In addition, Conneaut High School met the Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) goals with the targeted populations (e.g., economically disadvantaged, students with disabilities), as required by the federal No Child Left Behind Act. (NCLB)

Conneaut High School is in the Northeastern Conference (NEC) and is division three for most sports.
