Conjunto, taken from Spanish, literally means "group", though it most often refers to a musical band or other performing arts group. In Mexico the term is synonymous with Norteño music. However, conjunto is also used by Caribbean and Cuban groups, such as the Conjunto Folklórico Nacional de Cuba.
