Congregation of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux

The Congregation of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux (commonly shortened to CST Brothers) is the first Religious Brothers congregation founded in the Syro-Malabar Church in Kerala, India and the first congregation in the name of St. Thérèse of Lisieux in India itself. It was founded in 1931 in a small village called Mookkannoor by Mar Augustine Kandathil, the late Archbishop of Ernakulam and head of the Syro-Malabar Church. They are engaged in Catechetical works - like teaching Catechism. They involve themselves in Orphanages, Schools, Industrial Training Centers (ITC), Hospitals, Production centers, Library, Youth Centres and Prison Ministry etc. Balanagar ITC Mookkannor is one of the most famous Industrial Training Centers run by them.
