Congregation Shomrei Emunah

Congregation Shomrei Emunah is a Jewish Orthodox synagogue boasting membership of over 400 families. The synagogue was established in 1971 in the Greenspring neighborhood of Baltimore, MD. Currently, the synagogue's spiritual leader is Rabbi Dovid Gottlieb. In 2006, the synagogue hired rabbinic intern, Rabbi Adir Posy to assist in the spiritual leadership of the congregation. The synagogue's youth director is Dov Ocken.
The shul has a wide variety of shiurim and adult education opportunities, including guest lecturers, regular shiurim in Daf Yomi, Amud Yomi, Chumash, Navi, and Halacha. There is a fantastic youth program led by Dov Ocken, covering all ages from 2 to post high school. The shul has weekly Shabbos youth groups and a very popular youth minyan with a weekly kiddush.
In 2007 the shul established a "Women of the Round Table" organization (aka "sisterhood") which sponsors Rosh Chodesh shiurim and regular events during the year.
The shul is in the midst of a building campaign, expanding its physical structure to meet the demand for activities, classes, and community needs.
