Confused is the seventh single from R&B Singer Tevin Campbell's debut album T.E.V.I.N. The song is about how Tevin is confused about his feelings for a girl and the feelings he shares for that girl. He confesses in the beginning of the song "Everyday I see her in school and she always has such a nice smile and for some reason she makes me smile too". Then the song starts and he sings about how he dreams of places he's never been to and that the feeling is so real that it blows his mind. When the chorus comes in he explains, "I'm so confused about, the way I feel" and he tells the girl if she asks why for her to be patient and he'll be true to her when the time comes. He hopes that the girl would help him on how to feel and what he should do. He hopes in time he'll know what to do when the time comes to be with the girl. Chart success wasn't particularly high as in previous singles and it was the first single in his career not to enter the Hot 100 but, it was a minor R&B hit in the beginning of 1993 peaking at #33 on the R&B charts.
