Conforming to Abnormality is Cephalic Carnage's first full-length album. It was first released in 1998 on Italy's Headfucker Records. In 2002 the album was re-released on Hybrid Records with the band's permission. In 2006 Subordinate Records from Italy re-released the album without the band's permission on CD and 12" vinyl format. The band has remixed and remastered the album, as well as added 21 bonus tracks for release on April 29, 2008, via Relapse Records. The bonus tracks come from the band's split with Anal Blast, plus an additional new tune sung by former bassist Jawsh Mullen.
The vinyl reissue on Relapse was limited to 1000 copies: 100 Clear (not available to the public), 300 Dark Green, 300 Yellow with Black Haze, and 300 Green with Yellow Splatter.
