Confidence is a very small unincorporated town on State Route 108 in Tuolumne County, California, United States, with a population of 50 people. The town sits at an average elevation of 4,200 feet (1,300 m). The ZIP Code is 95370. The community is inside area code 209.

In the state legislature Confidence is located in the 14th Senate District, represented by Republican Dave Cogdill, and in the 25th Assembly District, represented by Republican Tom Berryhill. Federally, Confidence is located in California's 19th congressional district, which has a Cook PVI of R +10[1] and is represented by Republican George Radanovich.
