The Confederation of Unions for Academic Professionals in Finland, (AKAVA) is a trade union confederation in Finland. It represents employees with university-level, professional or other high-level training. It has a membership of 448,000.

AKAVA is a central union meaning that people are not personally members of AKAVA but of a trade union which is a member of AKAVA. AKAVA has 31 member unions, the most important of which are Trade Union of Education in Finland, Union of Professional Engineers in Finland, Talentia, The Finnish Association of Graduate Engineers, Finnish Association of Business School Graduates (SEFE), and Finnish Medical Association.

AKAVA is affiliated with the International Trade Union Confederation, the Council of Nordic Trade Unions, and the European Trade Union Confederation.

AKAVA's counterparts are the Finnish Confederation of Salaried Employees (STTK) and the Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions (SAK).
