Coney is an English word for a rabbit, or rabbit hair.
Coney may also refer to or recall several types of animals:
- Cuban Coney, an extinct rodent
- Coney, a nickname for the Pika (a distant cousin of the rabbit)
- Coney, a translation of the Hebrew Bible word שָּׁפָן (shaphan), more accurately rendered "hyrax" (a rodent-like member of the suborder Afrotheria)
