Condor Trilogy

The Condor Trilogy (traditional Chinese: 射鵰三部曲; simplified Chinese: 射雕三部曲; pinyin: shè diāo sān bù qǔ) is a trilogy of three wuxia fiction novels by Jinyong. The trilogy began with the decline of Jin Dynasty and Song Dynasty and the rise of Mongolian Empire. The story ended more than a hundred years later with the establishment of Ming dynasty. The characters in the trilogy played significant roles in the rise and fall of these nations.

Although the English name of the trilogy is "The Condor Trilogy", it is most likely a mistranslation, as the characters in the first two novels are associated with eagles, not condors (the word 鵰 in the Chinese titles implies eagle, not condor).
